Yes, Cross Contact is mentioned so you can decide on your comfort level! Since some people need strict no CC, and others can have CC, I’ve listed ALL options in the guides. You can then see the Cross Contact information to decide what’s best for you.
Yes. Disney lumps Wheat and Gluten under the same umbrella (yes, I know this isn’t how it works in the ‘real’ world). Since they do this, Wheat Allergies and Gluten eat the same items at Disney. I manage a Wheat Allergy in my family, and also Celiac, so there’s notes when an item might not be the best for you.
Of Course! updates every 4-6 weeks for the year. Updates will continue through March of the next year to make sure I cover vacations.
If you’d like a copy for the next year, you’ll get a reoccurring 50% off coupon for any future purchases.
Yes! I include a note for items that are plant based (Disney’s take on items that are made without meat, dairy, egg or honey. some Plant Based items might include insect derivatives, so refer to VeganDisneyFood for tips on navigating that system.
Send me an email within 7 days of purchase and I’ll refund your item if you didn’t find what you were looking for. Seely @ MouseEarMemories.com
Disney Special Diets is really good for those with several allergens, or those outside the Top 9. But they focus on the sit down and Table Service restaurants, and don’t have much in the way of snacks, scripts, hidden items and seasonal holiday options.
I cover the Snacks, the Restaurants, the Special Events, the Hidden options (Basically a more comprehensive approach).
I’d recommend contacting Disney if you have an unique request or want to talk to one of the Special Diets Cast Members ahead of time for questions.
I do not and never have! You can reach Disney Special Diets department if you want to find information directly from them.
Current guides are for 2024! These will be updated through March 2025 to account for vacation planning. You’ll get an exclusive 50% off code for future guide if you’d like to purchase an updated copy!
PDFs are easy to view and edit. A physical copy would quickly go out of date, so a digital copy is the best option for updates every 4-6 weeks. Yes you can print your Guides!
A lot! I have Celiac and food allergies (IgE). Two of my kids have FPIES (and have both been Top 14 free+ others) and we believe youngest has Celiac but we’ll know more as he gets older (he’s been strict GF since birth so it complicates testing as he’s failed the two attempts to eat gluten!). Coparent manages Celiac and food allergies. Together with those, I have experience avoiding the top 14 allergens and strict gluten free diets.
A few years ago I was fed up with being left out on vacation. There was so much fomo from all the fun foods and not knowing if they were safe. (and 15 minutes checking on 10 foods adds up fast!)
To fix that, I started sharing online and now go to Disney several times a month so I can stand in line, ask questions, check on new foods and review locations.
All that info is added to giant guides for Gluten Free OR Food Allergy/GF folks so you can check options for your vacation (because you deserve all the eats just like common foodies) ✨
Since starting in 2018, I've directly helped over a thousand families make their Special Diets vacation even more Magical.

Once upon a time, I was new to Disney World while Gluten Free and it didn’t go well. I was hungry, disappointed, and I cried a lot while eating my snacks from home.
It shouldn’t be this hard to vacation while Gluten Free, So I made my own guide for Disney!
We could talk about the 250+ pages in the gluten free Disney guide or how I spend days each month gathering info to update the guides (and those are included!). We could chat about how many years I’ve spent looking for safe food and sharing them online or how I’ve taken years of feedback to constantly improve what I share.
But this isn’t about me, it’s about you!
It’s about you going on vacation and knowing where all the hidden treats are. It’s you knowing what to expect, from visuals to helpful scripts to unexpected issues. It’s you knowing which snacks are an option before you wait 15 minutes in line to be told no. It’s you having all the gf menus in one place!
It’s about dreaming of all the fun gluten free foods, and getting back to planning rides (not stressing about safe eats!)
